Yes, this was in one of the Land-Rover magazines ages ago. I thought they said it was already sold to the States back then.
Obviously not too much of a bargain. Or if it is really a good car, we now know what the ceiling price is for a Stage One.

Download the NZ army parts list from this site. Your car probably has a custom made NZ Army affair based on a Mallory. You can however buy a choice of Mallory distributors from Mallory or their NZ agent (not played with ones) for the V8, either points or electronic. Grab any Land-Rover magazine at y...

I agree. Even if the diaphragm has died, they are otherwise simple and reliable. To go mechanical you will have to hook up a push/pull lever or cable system. Plus the adaptor to replace the diaphragm and seal the box. Something like the underslung PTO operating cable. But possibly with one cable for...

Thanks but you are both missing the point. If you look in your handbook it lists two air cleaners: Standard; ie for UK models which is the Range-Rover type. Adverse conditions; ie export to Australia models, which is the large barrel. I'm suggesting there are two versions of the large barrel (but no...

Its strange that the American market hasn't picked up on Australasia as a good source of Series III's. Anyway, looking at the engine bay picture on this add poses a question for me. Is there two versions of the large air cleaner? Not the Range-Rover type nor the Cyclopac fitted to Australian diesels...

If you have a steering lock, then its listed in the Optional Parts Catalogue. This is regardless of whether the steering lock was factory fitted. The cables are unique. Though a lot of it may come down to length and what fitting is on the carb end. If you don't have steering lock, then there are a c...

I don't have a laser temp gauge to measure all this. They're damn expensive. But as ambient temp is going to be anywhere up to 40 deg C, what's the problem? Seems to be as lot of over thinking. The engine's thermostat won't be opening till at least 82 deg. Operating temp will be above this. Conducti...
