Yes, this was in one of the Land-Rover magazines ages ago. I thought they said it was already sold to the States back then.

Obviously not too much of a bargain. Or if it is really a good car, we now know what the ceiling price is for a Stage One.

All of the above.

Though if you haven't twigged, the car five fuel filters.

Strainer at the tip of the fuel pick-up.
Filter in the base of the pump.
Paper element filter under the air cleaner.
Micro filters on each needle and seat inside the carbs.

I've just downloaded an electronic copy of the parts list. By this I should be using the later type. But as I have an Australian assembled car, almost anything is possible. I will have to compare with the 110 list to see which part carries over.

Its strange that the American market hasn't picked up on Australasia as a good source of Series III's. Anyway, looking at the engine bay picture on this add poses a question for me. Is there two versions of the large air cleaner? Not the Range-Rover type nor the Cyclopac fitted to Australian diesels...

I don't have a laser temp gauge to measure all this. They're damn expensive. But as ambient temp is going to be anywhere up to 40 deg C, what's the problem? Seems to be as lot of over thinking. So for us it only really leaves the 110 CV (non ABS etc.) as the target.

I will have to get the Commonwealth to donate a couple to my cause and see what can be done.
