Re: Ebay again

Not yet, lots of interest and a couple of silly offers. I've relisted it.

Cheers

Re: rebirth of the beast

Thanks for the kind reply Mrs B. I'll try all that and I'll definately find a landy nut to have a look over and guide me. Really regret letting the old girl just stand there like that. Still get a burst of adrenaline everytime I swing into the drive so even as a garden ornament she'd been worth her ...

rebirth of the beast

Evening all, long time member that has rediscovered the spark for his Stage 1 that has been on a SORN for a few years. I've no technical skills and no interest in any diy on my vehicle at this stage (too busy). I SORN'd the beast about 5 years ago and she's not been touched since. Promised myself sh...

land rover mechanic/garage in edinburgh?

Hi all Long time no post - my stage 1 has been on the drive looking forlorn and on a sorn for a year. She's in superb nick and still starts and runs no bother but I need to get her MOT'd - can anyone recommend anyone in Edinburgh or surrounding area to do the work? Prefer someone who knows their way...

Not done any serious off roading myself - but trailed/launched a very heavy boat with mine last year on a stoney Scottish lochside and couldn't believe what the landy was capable of.

servo

Hi all

I need to replace the servos on my Stage 1 - does anyone know if they are a straight swop for Range Rover Classic or 90/110?

if anyone's got one i'd be interested.

Thanks in advance.

Mine is the one with the plastic blades - cheers for the info David.

It into the garage tomorrow to see if anything else was damaged when it blew - I'll let you know how I get on.

Non viscous fan

Turns out it wasn't the gearbox - it was noise from the fan which eventually came loose and snapped off its blades as I was driving along in the landie on Sunday. I've been told there may be radiator damage - fingers crossed there isn't - but does anyone know where I could get a replacement fan? Che...

LT95

Hi all asked this same question on another landrover forum; my gearbox started groaning at me the other day and I need rescuing by the RAC. There was an oil leak and I need the box filling up again. My local garage are not landrover experts, and I've been told to tell them to put in 15-30 oil - is t...
