Yes, I replied to Leigh saying the same. The VIN decodes to a RHD 2 door 109" V8

Re: Seeking Photos
I don't have any useful photos but noticed that this listing from the sales and wants ebay thread has a couple of photos https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Series-3-Stage-1-one-V8-/274542962800?hash=item3fec092870%3Ag%3AYp8AAOSwdiJfkE9S&nma=true&si=HiDYRmEzj3zZjhxyMrw1Fjqv6Dg%253D&ori...

Re: What happened to the forum?
Yes, it seems likely to have been a problem with routing somewhere between the server and you.
Thanks,

Re: What happened to the forum?
It appears to be OK now without any intervention and the server has been up for 83 days. I do need to reboot it later today for a new kernel, which will mean a minute or two of downtime, but for anything longer than that I would make an announcement. I've looked at the server graphs and logs and, wh...

Re: bottom
been thinking of getting a solar panel are they any good? Well, how long is a piece of string? 8-) Mine are total overkill for the task but I already had them, having used them for the house lighting on my previous house . So fitting to the landy was just a matter of bolting them to some roof bars....

Re: bottom
Back on subject, db are you sure thats a one piece badge - it looks like a two piece set to me (like the ones I took off my '73 station wagon a few years ago  ) I'm hoping to be able to put them on the Stage One in due course. Yes, try zooming in on it on the full size image http://album.dbro...

Re: Fairey OD linkages
I hadn't realised Bumpkin used to make these parts. He did provide the photos at http://www.stage1v8.org.uk/overdrive/index.html
I'm still in need of a linkage myself (having the RR bits, like Harry Potter) so if you do manage to get some made then I would be interested.

Re: New project, with extended hangers?
The extended hangers look like the 1-ton chassis. It had 9.00x16 tyres hence needed the lift. The lower ratio diff might be to compensate for the larger tyres.
See http://www.onetonlandrover.co.uk/technicalinfo2.html
However I didn't think there was a 1-ton stage1 from the factory.
