I have seen this one too. Great looking truck and probably much more worth the asking price than the one in the states. Problem is that it has been for sale going on at least 18 months now, so while it may be worth it, is someone out there willing to pay???

I would be surprised if he gets the asking price, i was expecting a fully restored mint condition 109 V8, that is just a nice looking original imported from the UK!!!! But you know...

Chaz, It is a pretty simple system so there could only be a few things wrong. Start simple first and make sure the speedo cable is still connected to the back of the gauge. Check that the cable is still squared off at the end and is not stripped. on the gearbox end, it is easy to remove and inspect ...

Terry, I do have the overdrive manual, but it just has a fairey part number?? Thanks anyway. I am going to use the force on this one and just get the F-2525 Timken bearing i was planning on. I also found a place here in the states that carries all of the thrust bearings for the LT95 overdrive and th...

Hey Terry, you out there? Listen mate, if you have a second, can you look at your input gear that you have pictured to the right above and tell me what the number on the roller bearings inside is? There are two bearings and i am pretty sure they are Torrington(Timken) F-2525, but just want to be sur...

Hello out there, Just thought i would put the word out again to anyone with some spare LT95 parts in their garage---you know, like everyone has this stuff??? Turns out it will not be cost effective to get the two gears cut even though i did find a guy who could reverse-engineer them. So, if anyone h...

Hello all, Just wanted to say hello from Virgina. The truck made the trip over with no problems and clearing customs was also quite easy. The harderst thing to do was get it registered in Virginia. VA is a title based state and since cars don't have titles in Australia, they didn't know what to do--...

Terry, The laygear looks better than mine and looks like a match, bearing looks great and the input gear on the right looks like a winner---i see how the one on the left has a longer shaft!! I can't measure my gears until next week as they are in a box in the post. In the meantime, tell me how much ...

Firemanshort, I will be in Norfolk starting this Wednesday and the truck is supposed to arrive on Saturday?? I would bet it will be a week or two before she(Kimba) will be on the road. I will only be in Norfolk until June when i move to Japan and the truck will go in a Navy storage facility until ro...

Terry, Here are the photos you requested. Additionally, there is a photo of a bearing that looks cactus as well--it is the roller bearing that goes at the front of the overdrive and supports the final drive gear that goes inside and attaches to the gearbox mainshaft. If you have one of those, i will...

Terry, I would love to put my name on a good input gear and laygear from your spares if i can. I will post some pics later so you know what i am looking for. Alan, I have already spoken with RDS and they thought i was crazy for even asking for LT95 overdrive parts so i can't see them entertaining th...
