Box removal can easily be done on ramps with a transmission jack. you only need to remove the tunnel and plate the fuse box is mounted on to get at the bolts on teh bellhousing. only took me a day to take off, and another to put back on.

I have the same problem.. my speedo over reads so im actually going slower than i think. According to teh GPS at 30mph its only 2mph out, but at 70 its out by 10mph? I thought that any errors by tyre size would not be exponentional?

Erratic idle speed

Hi all, My V8 seems to have developed and erratic idle speed. It dosnt fluctuate as such, but when i stop at traffic lights it quite often has a higher than usual idle speed. It is exactly the same on gas or petrol. As it is not a constant fault, im guesing that the carb / throttle linkages are in n...

Samro, I had a similar problem after i had used her in very dusty offroad conditions. I took the brushes out and gave them a good clean and light dusting of WD40 and the problem has gone away.

Hmmm... Ive seen what you say happen, but not experienced it first hand, and i have no idea what causes it, only he started up fine on petrol. However, i have the same problem when COLD, if i stall it getting out of the garage, (its a very steep ramp up) then it will not go again on either fuel. I s...

Across the wheel arches? How does it fit?
If my chassis is at all similar then it would go above the chassis and over the rear prop shaft?

Oh.. I was told when i bought it that to change from petrol to gas i had to switch off both fuels until the carbs had emptied, then switch to gas or id get backfires. So then the fuel cant go stale as there isnt any in there? The fuel in the tank is about a month old, and there didnt seem to be any ...
