I've been busy looking at the archives at Gaydon and you can add this to the list:

Re: Grille badge wanted
I made the grille badge out of a Series 3 grille. Chris Mahoney told me the original was like that and was stolen years ago.

Re: New owner of RHP175R
I made the grille badge from a cut down series 3 badge! I have an old photo of RHP showing the original was made like that, as was the badge on the Stage 2 mule station wagon. Staff Dewson told me he was asked to camouflage the prototypes and simply screwed a series 3 grille on. RHP still has holes ...

Re: New owner of RHP175R
Hi again folks. Not been on here for a while but I thought you might be interested in a few updates which will also be in CLR in the future. RHP is now looking rather fine with a new bare metal respray in original Marine Blue and I've put a few more miles on the clock. I've done a fair bit of resear...

Re: Breaking stage one V8 Truckcab
Hi Bryan
Just spotted this thread. I'm on the lookout for the following for RHP 175R
One heater pipe (aluminum ones)
Heater valve and bracket
Thermostatic air intake trumpet assembly with brackets
Carb breather pipes
Front badge
Front mats
Can you help?
Cheers

Re: New owner of RHP175R
RHP is back on the road! Passed the mot a couple of days ago. It's currently in York but I'll bring it home next month to start a rolling restoration. I'll post pics on occasion. Oh, and I've also discovered the whereabouts of prototype LR16!

Re: Grille badge wanted
I mean the silver 'Land Rover' badge that goes on the front panel. Unique to Stage one, stage 2 FEPs and early 127s.disco2hse wrote:What does that look like?

Grille badge wanted
Hi folks,
I've got round to hunting down parts required for RHP 175R. I've managed to pick up a few but I'm on the look out for a stage one grille badge. Anyone got one they would be willing to part with?
Cheers

Re: New owner of RHP175R
Hi folks. A couple of weeks ago I had a long chat to Christopher Mahoney, RHPs previous owner and from whom it was stolen. He filled me in on a few details , he bought it back in 1992 so had a long time with it. He has just released a book that folks on here might be interested in. It's called Archi...
