Re: Gumtree again

Have seen that one around as it as I used to live about 20mins away.

I wouldn't pay that price though.

Yes indeed, I wrote it.
I thought that was you. As I said on IG, a great article. I love anything One-Ton related. A pity we never got them in Australia.

Re: Gumtree again

I raise your overprice Rangie with an overpriced Perentie

https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/detail ... 233/?Cr=29

I wouldn't pay anymore than $8k for a Perentie no matter how much the owner has spent on it.

So I will probably never buy one.

Re: Gumtree again

That one is about 40kms south of me.

This one is about 50kms north.

Both are overpriced, especially the second one.

Re: Aussie ute

Just covered 3400kms in the past 4 weeks on my new tyres. Very happy with them, and even happier with how it ran overall.

I did those kms in 7 days of driving with my biggest day being 850kms. NIl issues too.

I fitted new tyres the other week. Cost me almost half what I paid for it....

Re: Aussie ute

The V8 sound was drowned out by my thermo fans.

I did most of the uphill in third gear. It's an avg 8% grade that can be done in 4th when you can sit on 60.

WIsh I was there and not just watching on Youtube.

Re: 70th Anniversary at Cooma

The whole Grand Parade. Stage Ones at 10 minutes in.

From memory there were 2 V8 wagons, 4 Isuzu wagons and 2 V8 traybacks.

One of the Isuzu wagons had Aircon and powersteering.
