Re: Remanufacture of classic parts

Bryan, big one would be stage 1 front halfshafts. If you did these in standard 10/23 splines in standard strength they could be done quite cheaply. Fairly sure a lot of owners would buy a few sets at a time. - I would. In fact you could do the lot, the main wearable/breakable parts in a stage 1 fron...

Re: Breaking stage one V8 Truckcab

Hi - a pair of front floor plates would be very handy. the seatbox too (or at least the front panel of it) if I could get it to Manchester.

Re: Another Stage One on Ebay

I've considered this one. A point of note: With its original unmodified chassis (5 points), axles (2 points) and suspension (2 points) as well as its logbook - 9 identity points in total from a maximum of 14, in the uk that is more than sufficient to legitimately build it up on its original registra...

Re: Looking for steering relay

Hi - the only parts of the steering relay that are unique to the stage 1 v8 are the housing and the upper arm - the rest are commonly available series parts. It may be worth looking for them individually (housing is NRC2409 and upper arm is NRC4343) Pegasus have a good used casing in stock for £40 -...

Re: station wagon

Ace - thanks pal. I'm only the other side of Walkden, so if there's a few spares I could pop over and have a look. If you PM me your contact details I'll give you a shout).

No didn't get to Ripon either, can't seem to find time these days.

Tempting... Tempting - only live around the corner too.

I didn't make it to Penrith in the end, but still after a steering relay if you'd part with it.

Stage 1 vs One Ten V8 seat box - pictures?

Hi folks, in my search for a Stage 1 V8 seat base I've come across one that I think is from a One Ten V8. It must be an early one (LT95 anther than LT85) as it seems to have the hole for the vacuum switch. Could anyone share pictures of a standard Stage 1 seatbox so that I can compare - perhaps an o...

Re: Wanted: Seat Box and Floor plates(s)

Thank you. Yep - floor plates would not be a problem if I had a pair from which to make templates - similarly I can buy a complete, uncut, seat box front from YRM and could change a 4-cyl one to 109V8 spec, but would need a template. I'd prefer to find the real thing if I can as I'm aiming for quite...
