I got a new old stock one on the dreaded ebay for under £100. I wouldn't buy any aftermarket main shaft they have a habit of snapping . Try and get an old one to dismantle from a scrapper 4cyl; the internals are the same

Apparently they are going to make them to facilitate the anti burst lock so perhaps they will galv batches of them too.

Unfortunatley no but drill and fill with cavity wax and a good paint job should see them last??

Its a firm called SPlandrover.
As has just been pointed out to me , they won't accomadate the anti burst lock ( nothing that a hole saw won't cure) .
So long as they start to sell the tops to match they could be a usefull solution.

I'm along way off needing doors :D , but out of interest ( and incase I see some for sale) I assume they are one piece items??? If they are one piece, can the S11 (11A) SW two piece doors be used????? I only ask, cos they are like hens teeth and there is a firm that has started to sell the lower doo...
