Put a hi torque on a 2.25 petrol about 18months ago, I've had no problems and it certainly spins it over with ease. My series parts supplier no longer sells standard starter motors, he says the price difference sient make it worthwhile stocking both

I bought a very unfinished project around 5 years ago as a donor for my stage one hi cap. The guy I bought it from lost his storage space and probably lost interest in the rebuild. I honestly don't know to what extent he went into the recommisioning, it had brand new suspension but I haven't dug any...

My hi cap is rated at the higher payload, I think it's 3070 kg gross but it doesn't have extended spring hangers
