Well she is in the shop, lets see what they have to say... Question Alan when you put in the bosch 24v alternator, did you get it modded to accept the same plugin?
or went with new connectors all across the board. My gut says I have to go this way ....

Re: 100 Amp Generator putting out 40 Volts..eating everythin
Hi Allen, yeah I have the p ignitor , I just had to replace it after three years, I am not sure that it was not killed by the generator running amuck, but has worked well outside of that. General question, does that split charge diode do anything useful if you are not charging two systems with it? O...

Re: NZ Army Land Rover alternator problems
Hi Alan Thanks for the reply, so, no shocker I am confused. So the voltage regulator is behind that AIS multilarm thing.... Is that the most likely part thats failing and causing 40 volts at the batteries? OR is it the generator regulator in the generator itself? If so, do you happen to have a part ...

Re: Mercedes 3.0L turbo BIG UPDATE
OK, so being a chicken I have kept pounding Google and the forums looking for a kit to do this, as I think I have a much better chance of success If the tricky bits are sorted out by somebody smarter than me. I came across a link to this website, its in swedish so have to use google translate. http:...

Re: ENGINE JUST DIES!!! Then Lives, then dies....
lol, disco... I think I almost got the point. Talked to pertronix head geeks and he said that part number 40511 will do 24v and with special order for the 182 and you are straight from key to engine, no problems , and under warranty. Pertronix wont sell direct, so they sent me to a company that as t...

Re: ENGINE JUST DIES!!! Then Lives, then dies....
SOME exciting news I think!!!!!!! OK this may solve a lot of issues for x NZ army stage ones.... SO I was debating either to balance the batteries OR use 24 to 12 step down converter before the flame thrower. I was on the phone with Pertronix tech and he says......drumroll, why dont you just get the...
