Re: Paint code

Thanks for the reply - There are a number of areas of white visible in the interior & under the bonnet of my sister vehicle & it’s definitely a gloss finish. It appears to be closer to a true white than Limestone, but i’ll try to make a comparison - Cheers

Paint code

Hi, I have a friend who is restoring a 1981 Safari Station Wagon, which was converted to a Fire Appliance when new. These vehicles were supplied to the Coach builder in their original factory white paint finish and were repainted In red before sale to the Fire Service. Does anyone know the paint cod...

Re: Cheshire Fire Service Stage Ones

Many thanks for the update on 901. I've been in touch with the dealership and been able to provide photos & information that may be of interest to the new owner. I'm trying to get an update on the remaining vehicles 903, 904, 905 & 906. Mine (902) & the last remaining with Cheshire (907)...

Hi, the vehicle for sale on this site is an after market conversion, which I understand took place when the vehicle was two years old. The eight vehicles operated by Cheshire were supplied new to coachbuilders Jennings of Crewe. These were all Station Wagons and interestingly the rear side windows c...

DMB 902X Stage One Fire Appliance

Unfortunately, the chances of now being able to buy equipped or even "lettered up" Fire Appliances direct from the Fire Service are few & far between. Most Services now have a policy of completely stripping vehicles prior to disposing of them by auction or else send them for Scrap. Sad...

Cheshire Fire Service Stage Ones

Hi, I have one of the eight Stage Ones converted to Fire Appliances by Jennings of Crewe in 1981 for Cheshire Fire Brigade. I'm a member of the Fire Service Preservation Group and maintain a register of the seven that are still on the road. I've currently lost touch with DMB 901X which was sold by t...
