WHAT ARE THE ODDS!!!!

i decided to get a stage1 v recently as always liked my neighbours landy he had when working at leeds bradford airport.

v happy to see it appear again even if it is miles away and really hope it goes to someone who can keep it on the road

ah so you may know some of its past then? i have done mainly powerplant work at the moment with new carb refurb, radiator, brakes drums etc etc however body does need work. i have no intention of making it look too fancy however being water proof is a good start. thanks all for the comments and help...

Wow thanks for the advice guys and i am amazed at how much knowledge there is out there fo the military and police specs I will take pictures tonight and upload them and as it will be dark i suspect it will cover up the dog rough body work it has however i have been concentrating on running gear bef...

police colours

As i am asking questions i thought id continue... i have an ex police white 109 but it has dog rough body work on at the moment and i want to re paint. as it still has all the instrumentation and police light boxes etc id quite like to keep it looking fairly origianl however i have no idea what pain...

thanks for advice firemanshort and i aim to put the 50w in this weekend when hoefuly it stops snowing and i can feel my fingers to change the PCV valve at the same time.

new doors went on last weekend so at least its dry inside the truck for the first time on a long time!

thanks all and yes i have seen the other threads and seen the advice which is why i thought wise to ask what actual owners were using as nothing beats experience, i aim to stick to using the engine oil as it says in the manual and need to keep it going over the next few months then over haul it anyw...

I apologise if this has all been asked before however i am getting told various options for oils and thought id ask proper owners rather than people who think they know stage 1's I have been told to put 20/50 in the engine and the gearbox and EP90 in the overdrive, transfer box and diff's?!?!? i hav...

decent alternator found!

i wanted to post in case it helps but i have been having problems with thr red ignition light coming on so decided to check the alternator to find it only producing 10 v i shopped around but most were coming up at around £120 quid however i have bought a new one from 4 plus 4 for £54 and works like ...

i could use a steering box and radiator!

if u have sold no worries but if u have a price in mind then give me a shout as i seem to be suffering from overheating even in autumn temperatures and thin rad is goosed.

as i have to drive by touch i suspect the steering box is as well!
