the exhaust exits through the round hole in the rear cross member i think the suggestion that its a shrunk 109 is the more probable with a cut rear body have just sent letter to eric pagan with his £15 payment just have to wait and see what he comes up with ive asked him for information on the chass...

thanks for replies i think the cut down 109 could be a more probable answer but that will need further investigation i think the only reason its reg as a 73 is because the vin plate is still on the drivers side seat box ill put pic of that up paint wise there are signs of the light blue on the drop ...

hi firstly thank you all for your replies ...so here goes ..the bulk head shows signs of where the vum plate was and the original colour is a light blue the front chassis member is right forward of the dog legs just behind the bumper no second cross member the cross member under the gearbox is bolt ...

ive just bought v8 that has been left in barn on farm for 15 years and driven round once in a while...needs some work no vin plate in engine bay and has been registered for some reason as a 73 petrol im assuming that the rear body has been added and the person that did that registered it that way !!...
